| A Welcome Message From the Director of Recruitment and Alumni Relations Kathryn Kendall 
The University at Buffalo School of Social Work has graduated nearly 4500 alumni over the past 73 years. As a graduate of UB, I am proud to know that my peers are engaged in the work of leading private and public agencies serving individuals and groups across the life span in ways that influence local, regional and national policy and practice. As an employee of UB I am proud of my colleagues – many of them UB alums – whose practice, mentoring, research, publishing and teaching not only prepare a new generation of Social Workers, but also promote the School’s burgeoning international reputation. Together, our practices address fundamental issues of social justice in the finest tradition of our profession and the University. Mosaics is the award-winning official newsletter of the UB School of Social Work. Published three times a year, it goes out to all alumni of the school.
