The University at Buffalo School of Social Work (UBSSW) is working harder than ever to be on the cutting edge of social work practice and research. The introduction of a new curriculum that focuses on a trauma-informed and human rights perspective has created a catalyst to change in the school and community. As alumni of the school, you are pivotal in making this happen. Your agency leadership, organizational knowledge, and practice experience has laid the foundation for unprecedented contributions to the field. In conjunction with the outstanding work of the distinguished faculty, the School of Social Work’s influence spans regional, national, and international levels. Faculty, students and alumni are frequently recognized for our promotion of social justice, integration of theory and practice, and research that informs policy. The widespread expertise of you, the alumni of the School of Social Work, benefits the school on a daily basis. Your generous contributions of material and human resources creates a feedback loop essential to our growth and continued success.
