The following is a preliminary schedule of events for the fifth International Interdisciplinary Conference on Clinical Supervision. Please note that this schedule is neither complete nor finalized - it is being provided well in advance of the conference to give the reader an idea of the activities planned and personalities involved.

Thursday, June 11

8:15 - 9:00 a.m.
Continental Breakfast (for attendees of morning pre-conference workshops).

9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
The Dynamics and Skills of Effective Clinical Supervision: the Middle Phase (part one)
, co-led by Lawrence Shulman and Alex Gitterman.

9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Pre-conference workshop with Dr. Thomas Nochajski: Research grant writing for NIH agencies. No charge for conference registrants.

1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
The Dynamics and Skills of Effective Clinical Supervision: the Ending and Transition Phase (part two)
, co-led by Lawrence Shulman and Alex Gitterman.

1:30 p.m – 4:30 p.m.
Pre-conference workshop coordinated by Dr. DiAnne Borders: A networking session for clinical supervision researchers to discuss their work.  No charge for conference registrants.
 
6:00 p.m – 7:30 p.m.
How Can Research Best Inform Supervision Practice in the Real World: A Conversation Between an Agency Administrator, a Clinical Supervisor and Academic Researchers.

Friday, June 12

Lunch on your own (Marriott buffet or at one of the many local restaurants within walking distance)

Hot Topics in Clinical Supervision
Roundtable small group discussions: coordinated by Mike Ellis (Roundtable topics will be repeated so that attendees can sit in on more than one topic)

Evening: Participants are on their own for dinner. The hotel van will be available to transport those without cars to area restaurants. Tours to Niagara Falls will be planned if there are a minimum number of participants signed up (details to follow). Attendees should check area attractions for other events (for example, shows at one of the many Buffalo theatres and other outdoor events).
