Nov. 30th Workshop- Healing the Incest Wound: Relational Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma with Christine Courtois, PhD

We are so excited to have Dr. Christine Courtois coming to Buffalo to present on working with trauma survivors who have experienced incest. She has received international recognition for her work on the effects of incest, child sexual abuse, complex traumatic stress disorders and other types of trauma and has received awards from numerous professional organizations.

Forthcoming in 2012, Dr. Courtois will have a new book co-authorized with Dr. Julian Ford on Relational Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma: A Clinician's Guide (Guildford Press). She has authored the second edition of Healing the Incest Wound: Adult Survivors in Therapy (2010), co-edited (with Dr. Julian Ford) the book Complex Traumatic Stress Disorders: An Evidence-based Guide (2009), authored Recollections of Sexual Abuse: Treatment Principles and Guidelines (1999), and Adult Survivors of Sexual Abuse: A Workshop Model (1993).
