2009 Field Education Reception
This year the Outstanding Achievement in Field Education Award was awarded to Kristen Luppino, Erie County Coalition Against Family Violence.
The 2009 Field Education Reception was held on April 30 at The Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society's Pan-Am Building. The reception is an annual event held by the School of Social Work to honor the significant contributions made by all of our field educators who supervise students in their field placements as part of the MSW program. It is an opportunity to express our appreciation for their commitment to our students, our school, and to the social work profession.
Each year at this event an award for Outstanding Achievement in Field Education is given to a field educator. Students are invited to nominate their field educators for this prestigious award based on an established criteria relating to their characteristics in the role as field educator. All nominees are acknowledged and honored at the reception.
