The
UB Institute for Nonprofit Agencies was established to provide capacity
building services to nonprofit agencies in Western New York. The Institute
has been funded by the John R. Oishei Foundation, the Peter & Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation,
and Erie County. Located on the South Campus, the Institute is a collaborative
effort between the School of Social Work and the School of Management
at the University at Buffalo. The Institute works in collaboration with
the Not for Profit Resource Center for Western New York, affiliated
with the United Way of Buffalo and Erie County, and the Nonprofit Technical
Assistance Coalition. The Institutes' Advisory Board, comprised of administrative
executives and officers from nonprofit agencies and the for profit sector
guide these efforts to assist nonprofits.
