| Each year the Buffalo Center for Social Research assists
faculty in submitting millions of dollars in grant proposals
in a range of research areas, including addictions, aging, evidence-based
practice, health disparities, trauma, and violence. To facilitate
faculty research agendas, the Center also administers the Buffalo
Center for Social Research Pilot Funding Program. Current external
funding sources for projects include the Hartford Foundation,
National Institute of Drug Abuse, National Institute of Alcoholism
and Alcohol Abuse, National Cancer Institute, New York State
Office of Mental Health, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
